Always BPA-Free, Always Committed to Food Safety
February 27, 2025
Our packaging, including our 50 DN valve, has always been BPA-free, ensuring compliance and safety without compromise.
With the introduction of EU Regulation 2024/3190, the industry is facing a significant shift, bisphenol A (BPA) is now prohibited in food contact materials as of January 20, 2025, with a transition period ending in July 2026.
While many manufacturers are now working to remove BPA from their packaging, at Aran IBA, we have been ahead of this change for years. We are proud to confirm that all our packaging, including our 50 DN valve, has always been manufactured without BPA.
This isn’t a recent adjustment, it’s a core part of our long-standing commitment to food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Our customers can rest assured that our products already meet the highest industry standards, ensuring safe and reliable packaging solutions without the need for reformulation or redesign.
Why is this important?
BPA has been a topic of concern for years due to its potential health risks, particularly in food and beverage packaging. The new regulation recognizes these concerns and takes action to eliminate BPA from materials that come into direct contact with food. While many businesses must now make changes to comply, Aran IBA has been proactively producing BPA-free packaging from the start.
What does this mean for our customers?
No disruptions – Our packaging solutions already comply with the new regulations.
